🌍✨ Explore With Climate Consciousness – León, Spain (4–8 May 2026)
Our Erasmus+ mobility in León has officially started, and what a powerful beginning it was! The first day set the tone for a week of inspiration, cooperation, and meaningful action toward a more sustainable future. 💡
Teachers and trainers came together through a series of engaging seminars and site visits focusing on innovative ways to reduce carbon footprints in both education and tourism. Throughout the day, we explored how knowledge can create real change when shared and applied, fully aligned with SDG 13: Climate Action.
The program started with a warm welcome, followed by an insightful session at the Regional Energy Agency of Castile and León (EREN). Ricardo González Mantero introduced the agency’s mission and highlighted key initiatives supporting sustainability, especially in the tourism sector.
🏢 A visit to EREN’s bioclimatic headquarters provided an inspiring perspective on sustainable architecture. Participants discovered how smart design can significantly reduce energy consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and bring renewable energy systems into practice.
