SUSTAIN Project Completes Digital Innovation Workshop for Sustainable Tourism
Participants in the SUSTAIN Project explored digital tools for sustainable tourism by creating QR-code eco-guides, sustainable tourism routes, AR and virtual tour concepts, and interactive learning activities that promoted climate awareness and heritage protection.
DAY 5 – In Romania – 2
Day 5 marked the successful completion of the SUSTAIN Project mobility in Romania. Participants celebrated a week of learning on sustainable tourism and local food movements, received their certificates, and reflected on the valuable experiences, partnerships, and knowledge gained throughout the programme.
SUSTAIN Project Celebrates World Environment Day by Promoting Responsible Tourism
On World Environment Day, the SUSTAIN Project highlighted the importance of sustainable tourism, environmental protection, cultural heritage preservation, and support for local communities through responsible travel practices.
DAY 5 -In Romania
Participants explored nature and sustainability through an eco-picnic with local products, a visit to the Mud Volcanoes, biodiversity observations, and discussions on zero-waste practices, environmental protection, and sustainable tourism.
DAY 4 – In Romania
During Day 4 of the Romania Mobility, participants visited Brăila Central Market to explore how local producers, seasonal products, and traditional goods support sustainable gastronomy and tourism. The experience highlighted the importance of responsible consumption, short supply chains, and strengthening local economies through sustainable practices.
DAY 3 – In Romania
On Day 3 of the Romania Mobility, participants explored sustainable food management, local economic development, sustainable fishing practices, and traditional community lifestyles through presentations, cultural visits, and local gastronomy experiences.
DAY 2 – In Romania
During Day 2 of the Romania Mobility, participants explored the culinary traditions of Romania, Türkiye, Poland, and Spain through presentations and hands-on cooking activities. By preparing traditional Romanian dishes using local products and sustainable practices, students and teachers combined cultural learning with environmental awareness.
Celebrating Children’s Day in Romania!
SUSTAIN project participants celebrated Romania’s Children’s Day in Constanța through interactive games, cultural exchange activities, gift sharing, and friendship-building experiences that promoted intercultural understanding and cooperation.
