## Sustainable Culinary Workshop Held Following Spain Mobility

As part of the Erasmus+ SUSTAIN Project, our Food and Beverage Services teacher, who participated in the “Explore with Climate Consciousness” mobility activity held in León, Spain, carried out a practical dissemination activity with students to share the knowledge and experiences gained during the mobility process.

Within the scope of the activity, topics such as sustainable tourism, climate change, reducing carbon footprint, the use of local products, responsible consumption, and prevention of food waste were addressed. In our school’s food and beverage workshop, students prepared climate-friendly menu examples using local and seasonal ingredients, emphasizing the importance of sustainable kitchen practices in vocational education.

This activity aimed to enhance students’ professional skills while also raising awareness about sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility. The workshop provided students with the opportunity to combine practical culinary training with sustainability principles and encouraged them to adopt environmentally conscious approaches in their future professional careers.
