Today, we had a day full of culture and flavors at our partner school, Ion Ghica!
Our school partners introduced us to the rich cuisine and culture of Romania.
In addition, tourism students delivered presentations about the cuisines of Romania, Türkiye, Poland, and Spain, sharing unique culinary traditions and cultural insights from each country.
Afterwards, students and teachers worked together to prepare traditional Romanian dishes:
Sarmale
Papanași
Mămăligă
and enjoyed tasting them together.
Throughout this activity, we kept sustainability awareness at the forefront.
By using local products,
Reducing waste,
And promoting responsible production and consumption, we combined cultural learning with environmental awareness.
As we explore different cultures, we continue working together for a more sustainable future!
